Before you start
You’ll need:
- An Azure account that has an active subscription
- A Quotient admin account
Step 1: Create a new Application
- Sign in to the Azure Portal (https://portal.azure.com) and go to Entra ID
- Under
Manage select Enterprise applications
- Add a new application, select
New application
- Select
Create your own application
- Set name as "Quotient”
- Select
Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery (Non-gallery)
- Click
Create
Step 2: Create SAML Integration
- In Enterprise Applications > All applications select your newly created “Quotient” application
- Find the
Manage section and select Single sign-on
- On the
Select a single sign-on method page, select SAML
- Under the
SAML Certificates section click Download on Federation Metadata XML , you will need this for the next step
- Leave the Azure portal open. You'll continue with the app configuration after performing the next step in Quotient’s settings page.
Step 3: Set up Quotient as SAML service provider
- Log in to Quotient
- Select
Settings → Single Sign-On
- Under
SAML SSO Configuration select Metadata XML
- Paste the contents of the xml file, (from step 2) into the Metadata XML text box.
- Click
Save Changes
- You should now see the fields:
Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL and SAML SSO Entity ID. You’ll need both in the next step.
